Very nice stay in Carlo’s apartment. Communication was perfect, we were welcomed by Marzia. She was very kind and gave us a lot of informatisions about the apartment and the area. The apartment is on 1st floor of a small building (only stairs), very well furnished and designed. The view is beautiful. It is very quiet outside but during our stay the neighbor above was little bit noisy at night. Center of Bellagio is 15 min walk, 10 min walk you can find supermarkets. You can easily and safely park a car inside.

Nice apartment situated on the other side of the main foreshore a short 10 minute walk from the port. Lovely view of the lake from the kitchen and lounge room. Unit has a lovely little verandah to sit on an enjoy a meal or drink. (Seats 4 persons) Check in was a little difficult for us as we are Australian and didn’t have a local mobile number so we could only contact the host via email when in wifi so I suggest overseas guests have a working mobile or get a local SIM card to make the check in process easier. Beds were comfortable and kitchen had good amenities. Highly recommend this apartment.

Absolutely perfect! Carlos did a great job preparing the home for our arrival. The location of the home is convenient to the town, easy to walk everywhere and has every amenity you would need. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place and beautiful location.We loved our stay in Bellagio. We were two couples traveling together. We took a train from Milan to Como then took a ferry to Bellagio. I would suggest, getting a taxi ordered ahead of time. There are no taxis waiting for people at the ferry terminal. We unfortunately did not get a taxi. We had to pull our luggage which was very heavy up to this apartment. It’s all uphill from the little town to this apartment. I would recommend the apartment the view was incredible. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were nice and the layout of the apartment worked well.

Beautiful apartment Great location Amazing lake views. The apartment is beautiful and comfortable with high quality furnishings, bedding and appliances. The lovely small deck is a perfect place to marvel at the view to the east side of the lake from sunrise to after dark when the villages across the lake absolutely sparkle. The property is lovely, gated and very secure, and the apartment is located up two flights of steps on the second floor. Its an easy walk to the busy, interesting city center for the ferry, restaurants and shops which we did probably twice a day, always being grateful to be back in the quiet luxury of the apartment. Communication with the property manager and the property owner was easy, and overall, our stay at the apartment and in Bellagio far exceed our expectations.

Amazing! We loved this apt! Apt has a beautiful view of the lake and is close to the city center. The details of the apt were great! From the linens to the supplies in the kitchen. A/C in the bedrooms and even a dishwasher and washer/dryer. Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful property with stunning views.This property is located about a 10-15 minute walk up the hill from the ferry terminal, but it’s well worth it. First of all, it’s nice and quiet and a great place to come back to and relax after a fun day out and about. When we arrived at the property there was a complimentary bottle of wine and water in the fridge for us, which was very unexpected, but wonderful. This property is very clean with the most stunning views. It has a nice outdoor patio where we ate almost every night. The bedrooms are air conditioned, which was a relief, since we arrived in the middle of a heat wave. I can’t say enough good things about this property. We hope to return some day and rent it for even longer. The owner also owns Bellagio Sailing and we rented a sail boat for a few hours. It was very convenient and a great way to spend the day.

Week away with friends. Very nice apartment a short walk away from the town centre. Stunning view from the balcony. We had a wonderful evening when chef Babba came round to cook for us. Also very much enjoyed the sailing trip that Carlo organised.. Only things that could be improved are bathroom lighting and a full length mirror!

Looks like the pictures.Overall it was a pleasant stay and the apartment was comfortable. We found driving here to be quite dangerous. If there was one thing I wish we would have been told is that there is no elevator/lift. For those who are mobile with light luggage this would not be a problem but we were traveling over winter holidays and our luggage was heavy (we are older). Also, you might want to plan on returning to the apartment before it gets dark. Entry into both the parking area and the building require you to use a key. The parking key entry has NO lights and the building entry has VERY minimal lighting making it dangerous. Make sure you have a flashlight on your cell phone or you will be in trouble. If we had to do this trip over, I would have probably stayed in Lake Como only because there was nothing open over the holidays in Bellagio and the « epic » fireworks display for New Years was not visible from this area. My friends and I stayed in Carlos apartment over Xmas 2018. We were greeted by the very lovely Marzia who showed us through the apartment, made herself available and even provided some local recommendations for shopping, restaurants etc. All of the apartment furnishings were comfortable, aesthetically pleasing and met our needs. The apartment is fully equipped with everything for a short stay and we certainly appreciated being able to wash our clothes after 2 months of travelling. The location is perfect … a short walk to the town. There are lots of hills but this is typical of Bellagio. The up side is the breathtaking views from the balcony (plus the exercise to walk off all the pasta!)

Carlos’ place is a wonderful find if you are staying in Bellagio. The apartment is just ten minutes walking from down town and had plenty of space for two couples to share. A beautiful place with views of Lake Como. Spacious, tidy and very comfortable beds. Kitchen was perfect and had views of the Lake while at the sink. Only downside was the air conditioning units are only in the bedrooms and the one in the guest bedroom would make loud grumbling sounds; we kept it off for the two weeks. The location was perfect and could walk 10 minutes to downtown Bellagio. Amazing space overall.

Best apartment ever!! We wish we could have stayed here forever. The space is so incredibly comfortable, spacious, stylish, well thought out, and with the most spectacular view of the lake. Simply beautiful. The apartment is equipped with every amenity you could ever need, the host very helpful, and the fact that a maid comes every day… brilliant!! All the benefits of a hotel with the luxury of a great Airbnb. Great position too and beautiful building and area. Would 100% recommend and wouldn’t look at staying anywhere else in Lake Como! Just book it!

We stayed for 4 nights during Easter. The apartment was large, well decorated, clean and had the most amazing view of the lake and surrounding mountains. The Kitchen was well equipped and we enjoyed staying in and cooking on two evenings (not something we initially planned on doing!). The beds were great, perhaps a little too comfy for getting out of bed in the morning! Check in was seamless, the host recommended a taxi company for us then remained in contact with the driver for drop off and pick up to make the trip as easy as possible for us. There was a maid service everyday and we were provided excellent information/assistance for everything we questioned. The host spoke to a local private boat hire company and managed to arrange a discount for us (this was a highlight of our trip and I couldn’t recommend it more, weather permitting). I couldn’t recommend this property more if you’re looking to stay in Bellagio! We would stay again if we return.

Best of Italy.If you want to go to Italy, Lake Comp is the best location! Really, it would compare to about anywhere in the world. The apartment was very comfortable with a view that you can spend hours with. There are lots of activities that you can enjoy without having a car, so you can leave the driving and the parking to others! Between the taxis, buses and ferries you can get around just fine or even walk like we did much of the time. Our favorite towns were Bellagio and Como . All were beautiful!

Bellagio’s Best .The flat was beautiful and the location is even better. The owner and his reps were responsive to any requests and gave us wonderful advice about local places to eat and visit . The terrace off the living room was our go-to spot for breakfast and dinner… better views that many restaurants. Be sure to ask Carlo about a day of boating or sailing on the lake. The sun, wind and water are a perfect way to spend an afternoon. I would happily stay hear again

Carlo’s place is a perfect hideaway in a beautiful part of the world. All the pictures show accurately what the apartment looks like but doesn’t capture the beauty of the area. We spent a glorious week discovering Bellagio and Lake Como surrounds. It’s out of the hustle bustle but close enough to everything. The local restaurant down the road is great for a quick bite and the fruit/veg shop next to it is wonderful. If you stay at Carlo’s you won’t be disappointed. Marzia was charming when she checked us in and when she came to say goodbye. Thanks so much for such an easy stay!

A wonderful apartment just a short stroll to the centre of Bellagio. The decor is very tasteful and modern, the balcony and view are even better than the pictures and the overall feel of the place is great. The AC and all the appliances worked very well and the place has all the plates, pots, pans and glasses that a small family could need. Having a daily cleaner was a useful bonus (Marisa, the cleaner, was unobstrusive and left the apartment nice and tidy everyday whilst we were out exploring). Communication with all concerned was also very easy. Marzia met us for check-in (even when we ran somewhat late on the day) and explained lots about the apartment and the local area. Check out also extremely easy. All in all, a flawless experience and highly recommend

Spacious place with great views and great hospitality.Carlo is an amazing host, always available if anything is needed. The terrace has a panaromic view of the lake, and a great part of the lake. The apartment is clean and modern and included a maid service daily. Quick 10 minute walk to the center of Bellagio and the water. Carlos runs a private sailing expedition which is also amazing and highly recommended.

Fantastico! We had the pleasure of staying three wonderful weeks in July 2016 in Carlo’s apartment Ca Maria. The apartments is just as the pictures are and is well maintained and well equipped. There is a grocery store with 10min walk and a fruit and veg store within 5. Easy 10 min walk in Bellagio centre which is gorgeous scenery of the lake along the way. Sportsman club just down the road . We were two couples travelling together and the apartment was a great size, the balcony is a bonus and we had many evenings and meals overlooking the lake, which you never seem to tire of looking at. We had the pleasure of meeting the owner of Ca Maria who is Carlo. He has a beautiful yacht which he rents out and we would highly recommend it as it is amazing! (www.bellagiosailing.com). Carlo is a great seaman and his knowledge of the Lake and his tales had us captivated. I would definitely stay in this apartment again without hesitation. Marzia, who greets you is lovely and nothing is too much trouble. Highly Recommended. We have always wanted to go to the Italian lakes and after reading that Bellagio was the jewel of Lake Como decided to look for an apartment there. Well if you are thinking the same don’t hesitate to book this one. The location is perfect, a short walk from the town, and the balcony and views over the lake are stunning. We loved it when the crowds had left in the evening and we could have timeless Bellagio to ourselves. The people were so friendly, noticeably the waiters who seemed to enjoy and take pride in their profession – not often found in the UK. The ferries buzz about all hours, and there are plenty of buses. We did hire a car but with the left hand drive and narrow roads bordering the lake did not use it once we were there. Carlo and Marzia are the best people and many thanks to them for contributing to our happy memories.

Un endroit idéal pour flâner sur les bords du lac. Nous étions deux couples et avons séjourné 5 jours dans ce bel appartement idéalement situé avec vue sur le lac, 6 mn à pied du centre de Bellagio, possibilité de garer sa voiture, décoration très agréable, cuisine bien équipée et très bonne literie. C’est un endroit parfait pour rayonner sur les bords du lac de Côme et profiter de la douceur de vivre de ces lieux très reposant à cette période de l’année (4 jours de grand soleil sur 3 et lumière magnifique) Nous avons recommandé cet appartement à nombreux de nos amis et y retournerons volontiers à un autre moment de l’année.

Wonderful, comfortable and charming. My wife and I spent 4 wonderful nights in Carlo’s apartment and could not have been more pleased. The location is great and an easy walk into town. Marzia met us with a smile and got us very comfortable, and the lay out and décor..not to mention the view is just plain beautiful. A Great Apartment with No Suprises. My family and I have rented vacation homes on quite a few occasions and there is always the potential for let down from what you see online to the in person experience. Carlo’s Ca Maria Apartment delivered everything you see and more. The and more comes from the quality of the apartment, it’s furnishings, and it’s people (Carlo and Marzia). We chose the apartment based on the style of the decor, the view, and the extra space compared to any hotel option. Each one of those areas delivered exactly what we expected and it worked out well for our family of 3. While we never really cooked much, the kitchen is well stocked. Carlo even has a variety of wine glasses which shows his attention to detail. Having the combined washer/dryer machine in the unit is fantastic as well. Bellagio is a beautiful spot and having an apartment like this completes the entire experience. If you are considering a stay in Bellagio I would highly recommend this location.

Beyond Wonderful!!!!. I have been meaning to write this review for some time. We had such a wonderful stay at this apartment. It was clean and nicely decorated, came with a parking spot and was half the price of the expensive hotels. Im so glad I found this gem in my search. If I ever return to lake como this is where I will stay!

PERFECT IN EVERY WAY!!! My husband and I have had the privilege of traveling to more than 65 nations and we have stayed and many many places in and around Italy. We have been surprised, unfortunately, by many places that we have stayed that did not match the photos. One of the witch in mint Amelia, we refused to stay in and had to find another place for five nights that day. However, Carlo’s apartment was the extreme opposite;). It has always been our dream to live in Bellagio Italy for a whole month as if we were locals 🙂 the year prior, we stayed for two weeks and Lecco, and researched and actively and Physically viewed 12 apartments. We wanted to be at least within walking distance to the Bellagio town center. Carlos’s apartment win hands down! And we saw some beautiful properties! His apartment is extremely Beautiful, comfortable, even the beds! The rooms were all great sizes and the layout perfect. The living room was light and bright and roomie where even the ceiling heights or high. The showers worked wonderful and the kitchen was well appointed and easy for me to enjoy cooking. We especially enjoyed the incredible views out the windows and the wonderful deck overlooking Lake Bellagio. Our walk into town was the perfect distance, Not too far or not too short – as we thoroughly enjoyed the exercise and views as we walked into town practically every day to either enjoy lunch in town, shopping or taking the boat to another Township. I must admit I enjoyed it so much that I had to buy another suitcase in order to get all of my new treasures back home :-). Also, relatively speaking to the other lovely apartments that lead viewed, Carlo apartment was exceptionally well priced and well Worth the value! Especially since we were able to park our car behind the gates and my husband was thrilled that the Wi-Fi connectivity was 20 Mb per second! We were there for two weeks by selves and then we had friends join us for two weeks and for two couples it was a perfect size. Carlo and his assistants were fabulous! They were extremely nice and helpful anytime! They spoke great English and we felt very loved, very safe, and very much at home. We give our experience and a plus plus and would stay there again anytime and encourage any of her family and friends to. We came away feeling that this apartment is our « home away from home » as we live in paradise full-time, meaning Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands, but we consider Bellagio our second home! Beautiful Ca Maria apartment.The Ca Maria apartment is lovely. It is furnished very tastefully with restful colours and warm fabrics. The bedrooms are large and very comfortable with lots of storage. Everything was very clean. Carlo has thought of everything a guest could need for a vacation. As we had been travelling for several days before going to Bellagio we really appreciated the use of the washing machine. We added two more days to our stay because we were enjoying it so much. The location is so tranquil and the views from inside the apartment and the balcony, where we spent most of our time, are spectacular. Ca Maria is a pleasant 20 minute walk to the town centre, however there are two restaurants close by as well as a lovely fruit and vegetable shop and a supermarket. We stopped at the trattoria most mornings for our cappuccino on the way into Bellagio and also had an enjoyable dinner there on two occasions. Dealing with Carlo was a joy. His English was quite adequate to provide us with all the information we needed, and he was always pleasant and helpful during the booking process. Marzie, the lady who met us on our arrival was also very pleasant and helpful. Thank you Carlo for sharing your beautiful home with us and making our stay so enjoyable.

A Comfortable Home in Bellagio.Our family of three stayed in Carlo’s apartment for five nights in the beginning of August 2014. This is a clean, pleasant apartment that is full of character. The premises are very safe with a secure parking area and entrance to the building. The calm location is away from he busy tourist area yet it is within an easy 10 minute walk. A daily cleaning service is included in the price but don’t expect more than a quick tidying up of the beds. I have no hesitation in recommending this apartment and will most likely stay again there when we revisit Bellagio.

FABULOUS APARTMENT.What a wonderful choice we made for our stay in Bellagio! The apartment is around 10 – 15 minutes walk from the old town area or wharf, so is very peaceful without being isolated. Views from the terrace are wonderful in all types of weather, even during big storms. Very comfy beds and sofas and well equipped kitchen for the type of cooking you’d do on holiday. The apartment décor is beautiful and everything is very well maintained. There is a supermarket within walking distance as well as a produce market and, in the other direction a small fruit and vegetable shop with very friendly owners. There is a trattoria about 2 minutes walk away with an upstairs terrace with lovely lake views and very friendly service. They also do take away. I recommend this apartment highly.

Perfect Apartment on Lake Como in Bellagio. Carlo was terrific from start to finish. Perfect communication throughout. The apartment could not have been more luxurious or better situated. Once you are settled there is no need for a car, everything is within walking distance: grocery shopping, cheese shop, restaurants, shops. And unusually for a self catering facility, maid service everyday. I unreservedly recommend Carlo’s terrific property.

My husband and I stayed in this wonderful apartment for 8 nights in September, 2013. It was definately one of the best we’ve ever rented in Europe and looks exactly like the photos. The apartment is clean, well appointed, very comfortable, quiet and has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The balcony, which overlooks the Lake, is just great to sit and have dinner with a glass of wine. Carlo was very responsive to deal with in booking the apartment, Marzie met us and showed it to us and explained everything. It’s located about 10 minutes from Bellagio which is an easy to walk to town. The market nearby was filled with delicious Italian goodies…..we ate very well. The list of restaurants that Carlo provided was helpful and they were excellent. We highly recommend this apartment….it made our vacation just perfect!!! Thank you, Carlo.

Lovely Ca Maria on Lake Como. We stayed a week and loved it. This is a prime property with a stunning view of the eastern leg of Lake Como. The view from the balcony is lovely and is as advertised in the picture–and a very pleasant place for breakfast and dinner. It is on the second floor [no lift] of a building with several apartments. Only two others were occupied–we had the place basically to ourselves. The LR is large, the DR is combined with a fully equipped kitchen, DW, laundry, full stove and oven, plenty of silver, china, wine glasses, refrig and freezer. Wifi connection was good. Lots of hangers! The baths are small, but adequate with well appointed fixtures. The bedrooms are at the back of the house facing on the private parking area, so there is no noise from the one road that runs in front of the property between the balcony and the lake. Car parking is within the property, with securely locked iron gate. We were met by the cheerful and helpful agent from the owner who answered her phone immediately and came to find us after Garmin got lost. Her orientation to the property was excellent. A full service market is within a 10 minute walk away from downtown–ask the agent how to find it–not much in the way of groceries in downtown Bellagio, so if you want to cook which we did, or just want fruit and bread for breakfast, go to the market. Full service butcher, cheeses, great choice of fresh seafood. Downtown is 10 minutes north, great food, great wine Enoteca, good shopping, charming town. Walk–parking is difficult, and the walk will burn off all that pasta you are eating. This apartment was bright, airy, air conditioned, well appointed and all the physical aspects well maintained. We have rented many apartments/villas in Italy and elsewhere, and find this one to be excellent.
