Lovely house just 5/10 mins walk from Bellagio centre. Great hosts; Marzia who checked us in was knowledgable and gave some good tips and Carla and Carlo were responsive and went to lengths to ensure our trip was as comfortable as possible. Truly wonderful views over the lake and a lovely restaurant just down the road that do take out. Super house – would recommend. We also went out on a tour of the lake with Carlo (he runs Bellagio Sailing). Fantastic way to spend an afternoon – we would strong recommend that too.

Excellent stay with the best view in Bellagio. The condo was perfect for our group, especially the incredible amount of outdoor space to enjoy. The downstairs suite was nice for privacy as was the main level bedroom with en suite bathroom. Highly recommend.

The view from Carlo’s home is breathtaking! We were going to originally book at a hotel by the lake and we’re glad we didn’t! Coming back and relaxing in the garden was one of the highlights of the trip. The space easily fits 3 couples comfortably with 3 bedrooms with large beds and 3 bathrooms. We wish we could have stayed longer and plan to come back!Communication with Carlo and Marzia was also very easy and with some great local tips 🙂

Carla was so kind. I was very sick when I arrived to lake como and among a speedy check-in she even took me to the doctor herself. I couldn’t recommend this gem of an Airbnb more. Great location! We didn’t even need a car to get around. Walking was just fine. The check-out is a little early at 10 AM but those are the rules. Would definitely stay again! Beautiful views 🙂

This place is wonderful, we absolutely loved our stay here. The view from the garden is simply amazing and the location is perfect for exploring Bellagio. I wish we could have stayed longer! I also highly recommend doing a sailing trip with Carlo’s company, it was fantastic and definitely a highlight of our trip to Lake Como.

This villa has amazing views and is in a great location for exploring Bellagio and the lakes region. It’s an easy short walk into town for hanging out or jumping on the ferries. The place easily fits 3 couples with good air conditioning and nice showers in each bedroom. The lower level room is a stand alone mother-in-law suite. Check in was flawless with a nice bottle of wine waiting for us. The only problem is that sitting outside enjoying the views is so nice that you don’t want to leave!!

OUTSTANDING! Our 1st trip to Lake Como – and Bellagio was the perfect choice – easy transitions via ferry/car to Mennagio, Varenna, Lugano, etc . BUT – if you drive up from Como, take the western side of the lake up to Cadenabbia, and then the ferry (10 min) across to Bellagio – the eastern side on SS583 is very strenuous – we did it – never again!. Now – apartment Belvedere: it was Stupendous! From the initial booking, Carlo, the owner, was exceptionally communicative and cooperative. He made it very easy to book, confirm, etc. Then his onsite agent, Marzia, also was excellent in welcoming us and guiding us into the apartment. The apartment is lovely – and matches the online information. At the entry level is the kitchen, dining room, and living room – compact, but fully stocked and comfortable for our group of 6. Two bedrooms on this level: 1 with king bed and ensuite bathroom, and the 2nd with king bed and bathroom just outside. The 3rd bedroom is the most spacious and is one level below with a king bed and ensuite bathroom. All rooms were properly stocked and very comfortable. The wifi worked well. There is parking for one car (with a free lot down the hill, if needed) and entry does require climbing 51 steps from the parking lot. The tradeoff with the apartment on a hill is stunning views of the lake and region – a WOW factor. It’s a 10 minute walk to the center of town, so the location is excellent. We were very pleased and highly recommend this rental.

Excellent location. Location is excellent. Just a short walk to town. View is to die for. Two nitpicky points: 1) One bedroom has a glass door opening onto the kitchen. Privacy is attained by pulling a curtain across inside the door. 2) There is only one plug in the kitchen to be shared between the toaster, kettle and coffee maker. I would stay there again.

Great property in Bellagio. Apartment & location are fabulous, the view can’t be beat. Views are as spectacular as the posted pictures, and everything important (including main town) are in walking distance. Only cautions are the significant uphill & stairs walk from the main road, and the stairs from the lower bedroom. We had older couples with us that had great difficulty with those. If your reasonably fit & stairs don’t bother you – it is hard to beat!

The views can’t be beat! The location is amazing and the view is spectacular. The outdoor furniture is really nice to sit outside and have some wine. Guests should be aware that you need to walk up a driveway and then a couple of flights of stairs. (that’s why you have such a good view!). Marzia met us at check in and was very helpful and available for questions. One of the bedrooms you need to walk outside the house and down the stairs. It was very comfortable though and you have your own bathroom down there. One of the bedrooms has a bed that isn’t very comfortable. it’s raised in the middle and my parents kept rolling to the edge of the bed. We enjoyed our stay here.

Breathtaking.This property was so nice, we dallied on all our excursions and took in the view and ambiance. A bit of a hike up to the apartment but worth every step! The property manager couldn’t have been more helpful and the owner was responsive as well. Prime spot for a visit to Bellagio!

Spectacular views.This is a beautiful property, and the photos and description are absolutely accurate. It clearly deserves a 5 star rating. All three bedrooms have modern air conditioning units that work well – essential in the recent hot and humid conditions. The master bedroom and en-suite are lovely. Excellent quality bed linen but a very firm mattress (like every other mattress in Italy in my experience). The other two bedrooms only have windows into a covered light well and the largest bedroom is a basement room which some could find claustrophobic although it does have a separate entrance and is therefore very private. There is quite a steep climb of 50 steps from the car park, which is the price to pay for the stunning location! We were a group of four adults and the apartment was a perfect size for us. Very well equipped kitchen including pantry essentials. There is a pizza restaurant and fruit and veg shop nearby for supplies, and a good supermarket a short drive away down a turning off the road away from Bellagio town, but well hidden! We had a car, which we thought would be surplus to requirements, but turned out to be essential for supermarket trips. Bellagio town is a ten minute walk away, with many restaurants and the ferry terminals, but we also enjoyed the Terrace restaurant at the Belvedere Hotel which is near the apartment. A trip on the lake in Carlo’s yacht is also a must-do.

Amazing Property.This property it amazing! From Marzia meeting us for check-in to the views to the modern apartment, everything was first class. We were 3 couples traveling together and there was plenty of room. Carlo booked us a sailing trip with his company which was fabulous. Our captain Michael was wonderful and we had so much fun sitting on Lake Como enjoying the views and chatting about Italian life with him. Carlo also booked a private chef to come in and cook us dinner one night. Delicious! Marzia arranged transportation to and from Milan for us and was always available for questions. We were sad to leave. I highly recommend this property!

Great apartment in a wonderful location!The location is wonderful and dealing with the property manager was extremely easy with an excellent response time. There is plenty of outside seating, however, we could not take advantage of it because it was raining and everything was wet. There are a lot of stairs so pack lightly! The view of Lake Como is extraordinary so walking up those stairs is worth it! We would have been more comfortable in the apartment if we had been able to sit outside because the living and dining areas are tight for 6 adults. We think the space would be larger and, therefore, easier to get around if the chairs for the dining table were able to fit under the table. We also needed more light, especially in the kitchen area when preparing food in the evening and it would help to change out the bulb in the lamp in the living room to a brighter one. I gave everything 5 stars except for cleanliness. The only reason I gave it 4 stars was because of the garlic smell when you opened the door to the apartment. We discovered that it was coming from one of the wooden cutting boards and we tried to clean it the best that we could. If you do not feel like cooking, La Belligina restaurant is about a 3 minute walk from the apartment and the food, service and view were all excellent. The property manager sent me the link for 2 local grocery stores that where a short distance away when driving. I did not want to have to carry heavy grocery bags back from the grocery stores in town so driving was preferable for us. Parking can be a problem. We were in 3 cars and the property only has space for 1 vehicle. The city of Bellagio had just changed the free parking lot across the street from the apartment to one where you have to pay. We were able to find a free spot in a small parking lot further down the street. Bellagio is a beautiful, enchanting village. If we were to visit again, I would definitely stay at Apartment Belvedere.

Best views in Lake Como. The views from the garden cannot be beaten. The property is very clean tidy and well equipped and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The only downside was the access to the downstairs bedroom was via steps outside but didn’t really cause a problem. The town is easily walkable and other areas easily accessed by boat or bus. Highly recommend.

Amazing! We absolutely loooooved this home and would love to return. Perfectly situation, stunning views, beautifully renovated. Only point to mention is that third bedroom is on a different level with a different entrance, although that was no problem for us.

Excellent location with all you need.The exchange of information was very timely, Marzia’s assistance upon arrival was perfect. She then gave us all necessary feedback to our questions without any delays. The quality of the place is very good, and the kitchen is very well stuffed with whatever you may need. The maid service every day is basic, but that’s what you need. The location is IMPECCABLE, 5 minutes walk to Bellagio, where parking is of course very complicated. We highly recommend Belvedere, particularly to people like us: 6 couples.

Marzia is a wonderful hostess. And, the place is inviting & well equipped. The view is outstanding & you can see the Swiss alps & a great view of Lake Como. It is only a 10 minute walk to downtown Bellagio & a 10 -15 min walk to a good grocery.

Carlos house in Bellagio was fantastic. It was far enough away from the town to feel quiet and private but close enough that you felt very central. Just a a ten minute walk into the centre of Bellagio but with a fruit and veg shop and a pizzeria just a minutes walk away from the house which were very convenient. The views from Carlos place were amazing and as we stayed with a 1 year old baby we cooked dinner in the house each night (and got take away from the pizzeria for one night) and ate out in the garden with the most beautiful view. The kitchen was well appointed and had everything we needed. Quite a few stairs from the main road to the house but well worth it for the view. V Bellagio itself is a lovely town with many nice bars and restaurants. We stayed for 5 days and so took the opportunity to see a few other nearby towns by taking passenger ferry from the main terminal in town.

Carlos house is spectacular with a view that is like no other. There was plenty of room for our family of 5 with 3 boys aged 23, 20 and 18. It was a short walk into town for restaurants and shopping. Very comfortable and nothing was too much trouble for Carlo to organise. Next time i am in Bellagio i know where I am staying! We had rain, snow and sunshine all in one day! Thanks Carlo

We could not have had a better experience! Marzia was our hostess who greeted us upon check-in, showed us around the property, and even gave us suggestions on local food to try and places to shop. She made herself constantly available for our large group of friends, all coming from different places at different times, and was very patient and gracious with us. The home and location were absolutely STUNNING! It was like living in a fairy tale every day to cook breakfast together and sit outside and look at the incredible view. The house was perfectly equipped, clean and cozy for our group of friends to celebrate our friends’ wedding in Bellagio. We would come back again and again… 🙂

A great property with a stunning view. Good communication with Carlo, and then his agent, throughout. The property was as we expected with no bad surprises. A very comfortable place to stay with high end amenities and cleaned every day. It was also child-friendly, we have a very active 2-year-old and it felt safe. Bellagio is a lovely, little place with a huge choice of restaurants. It also has ferries going in every direction along the lake so it’s well-connected. The best part of our stay however was the view from the garden – a picture postcard from every angle. Stunning!

Outstanding..My wife and I just returned from a five night stay at this wonderful property, and wished we would have stayed longer, the apartment is clean, modern, and comfortable, with all the amenities that you can think of, and we cannot say enough about the spectacular views from the front yard. Dinner at the dining room table overlooking Lake Como is not to be missed. We rented a car in Milan however we never used the vehicle except to drive to and from the airport due to the fact that this property is perfectly located just a short walk to Bellagio and the ferries. We also spent a few glorious hours with Carlo on his sailboat thoroughly enjoying his hospitality and the absolutely incredible views from the water that you will ever see, I would highly recommend this experience to all. Carlo and his team were extremely courteous and professional. We will be back.

Spectacular lake and mountain views at Bellagio! We had the most beautiful relaxing stay in this modern, recently renovated apartment/villa on an elevated position looking east over Lake Como and the mountains within 10 minutes walk to fabulous Bellagio! The property is spacious, clean and exceptionally well equipped, with all the amenities you need for a comfortable stay. It was absolutely fabulous to sit out in the garden either watching the sun rise over the mountains or sipping on a glass of Prosecco at the end of the day. Our hosts were very friendly and made us feel very welcome at this wonderful property. We only stayed for 5 nights, but wish we had stayed for a month. The property comes with convenient parking so is good for self driving. However, the property is located so conveniently close to Bellagio just above Pescallo, that we just walked everywhere and never moved the car. When we come back to Bellagio, we will definitely try to book back in – it is a perfect holiday retreat. There were only two of us, but the property would comfortably accommodate six people, and we would recommend it to friends and family without hesitation. Such a peaceful and relaxing space, away from the bustling crowds in Bellagio town, but with the best lake views you could hope for in Bellagio. Bellissimo!!

Excellent..Fully remodeled villa with outstanding views. We were booked for only three nights on a grand tour of Italy but wished we had booked a whole week here. So relaxing in the garden. Bellagio is the nicest town in Lake Como and perfect for seeing other parts of the lake due to it’s central location. Carla and Carlo were very accommodating. We will be back!

Wonderful apartment! My friend and I just returned from a 24 night stay in Italy, with only one night not booked through VRBO. You can book with confidence on this site, and Apartment Belvedere is one of many fantastic properties. We really loved the bathrooms, which were recently renovated, large by Italian standards, and beautifully equipped. The bedroom AC units worked so well that we had to turn them off before going to sleep! Wi-fi was strong, which cannot be taken for granted. The two of us used the top floor, but the bottom bedroom is huge and has its own lovely bathroom, as well as the laundry room. There is plenty of space to spread out, but why would you stay indoors when the garden affords such spectacular views? There are several tables and chair sets, two lounge chairs, and an outdoor sofa arrangement that ensure you will have plenty of comfort and space to enjoy the scenery. We hope to return to Bellagio, which is itself a charming lakeside town, and wouldn’t dream of staying anywhere else. One caution: the closest grocery store is a 15-minute walk. If you are carless, as we were, you will get your exercise getting your basic needs met. Send more than one person if you plan to purchase very many things! Otherwise, we could not have asked for a better apartment, location, or manager in Marzia. She was a delight and most helpful.

Fantastic! Perfect for a family!Fantastic spot for the family. We rented both the upstairs and downstairs for our two grown children and my husband/me. The picutures are what you get – a lovely property that is well maintained with all the nice touches of a fine resort. We spent most of our time outside in the yard and having dinner on the patio. Town of Ballagio is an easy 10 min stroll where you can enjoy shopping, dining, and boat rentals. A special treat was the Friday night all mens choir we encountered on the cobbled streets of Bellagio – once in a lifetime experience! Marzia was a fastastic resource who helped us get settled. Grocery stores are a 10-15 min walk but they can meet most of your needs. We would definitley stay here again!

Heaven in Bellagio. Apartment Belvedere is a wonderful property. The upper level has a new, modern living area with a well appointed kitchen/dining/living area. There are also 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. Both baths have rain showers and the beds were very comfortable. The upper floor is efficient, that is to say on the small side, but that is more than made up for with the garden. And, the was plenty of room for 4 people – never felt crowded. The lower level, which we did not rent, has a full laundry (which we used so we saw the lower level) and is also recently furnished. It has exquisite lighting and looks to be another wonderful bedroom with bath. The garden is the true gem of this property. The villa is high on a hill with amazing views of Lake Como and the mountains. The garden has a lovely table to sit at along with lounge chairs and a grill. If we had been there at a warmer time of hear, we would have lived in the garden. One caution, if stairs present a challenge for you, be aware there are many stairs from the car park to the house. The entire property including the car park are behind a locked gate so the property is very safe and secure. We are hoping to return to Belvedere in the future. Also, I cannot say enough kind words regarding Carlo, the owner, and Marzia the property manager. Their thoughtfulness and kindness will remain with us always. They are the best sort of people. Thank you both for everything.

Loved it…an absolute gem. Belvedere apartment was our first (accommodation) stop in Italy and I think it has sent the bar very high. We loved it, didn’t want to leave really!! Plenty of space, beautiful gardens, great location, clean, secure premises and parking, and Carla fixed any issues promptly, and answered all my questions! (Small issue arose- we are tea drinkers and there was no kettle provided but Carla organised one for us & Marzia kindly delivered it). Great service. I would highly recommend this property. Don’t miss it !!! We spent 5 days in august and just loved it despite the bad weather. Our expectations have been confirmed since the property is in perfect conditions and the description on the website accurate. At the beginning we appreciated the punctuality and precision that Carlo & Carla showed during reservation, immediately replaying to our several requests. During our stay in Bellagio Marzia was very cheerful and helpful too. The apartment is very clean and furnished with taste, the bathrooms are very well appointed and organized even if small. The kitchen is fully equipped with appliances , pantries and china. We enjoy spending some time at home during stormy days since the lake view was fantastic. We spent time into the garden and downtown which is 10 minutes’ walk, great food, great wine , good shopping, marvelous villas, the pier…very charming town. A nice walk separates the property from Pescallo, S. Giovanni and Loppia and you feel like do not really need the car. The private parking was convenient since parking is difficult downtown. Our experience was very good also comparing with previous rental experience and we highly recommend this property where we hope to return!

A great week! I spent a worderful week in a beautiful apartment with the best lake’s view . Belvedere House is situated in a beautiful location 5 min by walk from the centre. Everithing was perfect , clean and quite. I will be for next holidays and I recommend to my friends for spending time in a relaxing and glamour apartment.
